Photographer Sue Karski teaches this four part series in professional photo editing and management using Lightroom. This series will introduce students to the application and take them from importing and managing their collections of images to editing using the various application tools like a professional.

Class 1: GETTING STARTED will introduce students to Lightroom including how to set up their personal preferences and settings for efficiency, explaining panels and their functions, and how to import your photographs from your computer or card.
Class 2: LIBRARY MANAGEMENT will delve deeper into organizing and managing your photos, incorporating collections, smart collections, stacking, using multiple catalogs, travel catalogs, and relinking missing photos to a catalog.
Class 3: EDITING ONE:
Lightroom editing has a number of options for starting your post processing of your images. Working similar to Adobe Camera Raw, we will start with how to work on your exposure, white balance, auto tone, cropping, clarity, and vibrance. When to create a virtual copy and more. And this class will cover using Lightroom to export your photo to another software application for additional editing and what happens when it comes back.
Class 4: EDITING TWO:
Lightroom editing has improved with Lightroom 4 and 5 and now there is more flexibility in some of the tools. This class will explore tone curve, auto sync, dodging and burning, sharpening, noise correction, selectively fixing white balance, and creative effects .
