On the first Wednesday of the month, this class provides an overview of digital photography camera operation, designed to simplify your understanding of how the camera works, including: full automatic modes, Program modes, and the techniques that determine which mode to choose and why.
The class will also cover ISO, Metering Modes, White Balance, Pictures Styles, and more.

Week Two: Exposure & Histograms
Held on the second Wednesday of the month, this class is designed to teach you how to camera "sees" and reports back. Learn the process of how to read your meter and control your exposure. The histogram is a graph of your exposure and is used throughout the digital imaging process. Learning how to achieve proper exposure is key for producing quality images.

Week Three: Learning to See Light
Photography is all about light and learning how to see your subject in relation to the background. The uses of flash, reflectors, and the introduction of other light sources are presented to demonstrate how to improve image quality beyond the limitations of your camera.

This class will demonstrate what to do with your digital images, covering downloading, resizing, saving, and sending. It will cover several applications including Photoshop Elements, Lightroom, and Camera Raw.
