Join James Corwin Johnson, author of the Official Yosemite Photographers Guide, former resident Director of Photo Services for the park, on a magical photographic, tour and workshop, of the crowned Jewel of the National Parks. Popularized by Ansel Adams, in classic photographs, Yosemite Valley in the winter is an experience that cannot be duplicated, and should not be missed.
Yosemite in wintertime is certainly a modern wonder of the world. Popularized by Ansel Adams, in classic photographs like "Clearing Winter Storm". Yosemite Park has a long history of classic winter landscapes. Yosemite in winter stands alone as its own idyllic vision of nature in its winter coat. Our days will be full. Shooting throughout the day and into some evenings. After a day of photography we will be able relax back at our accommodations and critique our photos. Your guide James is the author of the "Yosemite Photographers" Guide, published by Eastman Kodak in 1991. As Director of Photo Services in Yosemite for over twelve years, James led thousands of visitors through the park, and facilitated in workshops for the park concessionaire, the Park Service, and the Ansel Adams Gallery.
