This is truly a Photo Experience not to be missed!

This year, James has secured a mansion just a block away from the action to host up to five participants and many of our classroom lessons!  We will even be hosting an underwater photo shoot in the pool (seen here).

Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

You will see ghosts, colonial re-enactments, fashion models, lighting and Photoshop demonstrations, creating the perfect holiday gift for yourself and shooting companions.

We will photograph the nighttime activities, learning how to capture that perfect lighting and join the excitement at the Illuminations Parade! We will enjoy colonial reenactments and visit historic landmarks. There is a little something for every photographer, and we have a great time along the way!

What is the British Night Watch?  It is a weekend long event commemorating the British period of St. Augustine, 1763 to 1783.  The main feature of the event is the Grande Illumination - British Night Watch Parade, a re-enactment of the ceremony used on special occasions and Holidays.

Every night, the town was secured by guards, marching by lantern light to lock the gates. On special occasions, it was made festive by involving the entire population in a candle or lantern lit parade which ended with volleys of muskets, singing and much merriment.
